Assistant Property Administrator

(EHM) and Community Housing Management, Inc.(CHM) experience in the management of housing and services for elderly persons and families.


Assistant?Property Administrator at Chestnut Hill & Laurel Ridge, Wolcott, CT
Full Time-?37.5 Hours Weekly
The Assistant Administrator works closely with the Property Administrator, assisting him or her, and substituting for the Property Administrator in his or her absence.? He/She will assist with the rental program, financial management, supervision of housekeeping, and preventive maintenance. ?


The Assistant Property Administrator must possess the skills and ability to assist with:




  • The day to day fiscal, physical and regulatory operations of? subsidized and elderly housing.


  • Have good written and verbal communications, strong organizational skills, problem solving, self motivated and a team player, as well as the ability to work well with residents and staff alike.


  • Ability to effectively manage between?multiple?tasks


  • Provide general office support including reception, answering of phones ? screening calls and directing to appropriate staff, word processing, copying, faxing, scanning and maintaining certain electronic and paper files


  • Comfortable familiarity with the elderly

Education


  • High school diploma



Skills and Training





  • Certified Occupancy Specialist preferred


  • Experience in an office environment and working with people


  • Strong communications skills; professional and effective interpersonal skills and comfortable and respectful familiarity with the elderly


  • Good interpersonal skills, problem-solving skills, ability and desire to learn and willingness to take direction and function as part of a team


  • Ability to work with and relate to persons of all ethnic and minority backgrounds


  • Good organizational skills and demonstrated facility for financial matters.


  • Computer proficient.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
