We're seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our dynamic team in the construction industryThis is a permanent, full-time position that offers a competitive salary and benefits packageThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, HVAC service, and maintenanceThis role requires an individual who is licensed and certified, preferably with S1 or S2 certifications from the Connecticut Department of Consumer ProtectionThe successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the field and be passionate about delivering high-quality work and exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
1Install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
2Conduct regular HVAC maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance and longevity of the systems.
3Diagnose and repair HVAC systems issues including refrigeration, heating, and air conditioning units.
4Provide exceptional customer service by explaining complex HVAC issues in an understandable manner and providing cost-effective solutions.
5Comply with all applicable standards, policies, and procedures, including safety procedures and the maintenance of a clean work area.
6Inspect and test systems to verify system compliance with plans and specifications and to detect and locate malfunctions.
7Document work performed and parts used for each job, and maintain an updated inventory of supplies and equipment.
8Participate in ongoing training and certification opportunities to stay updated with the latest HVAC technology and practices.
Qualifications:
1Minimum of 2 years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician.
2Valid S1 or S2 license from the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection.
3Proficient in installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems.
4Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain complex HVAC issues in an understandable manner.
5Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
6Ability to handle physical workload and work in various weather conditions.
7Knowledge of current HVAC codes and industry standards.
8Proficiency in reading blueprints and specifications.
9Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
10Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
