Job SummaryThe Assistant Nurse Manager / Clinical Resource Leader (CRL) is recognized as the clinical expert in emergency medicine patient care services and is a leadership role model for Registered Nurses and all staff under their supervision.
The CRL directs the work to ensure the overall movement of patients through the unit is managed in a safe and efficient manner.
This leader will review the assignment of patient care activities assuring that staff is qualified to care for assigned patients.
The CRL will support team members and ensure quality and service excellence to patients.
They will also facilitate solutions for challenging patient care situations.
The CRL will appropriately assign the workload and collaborate with manager to monitor and maintain staff performance.
Qualifications BSN required (will consider candidates in the process of completing a BSN) Current CT RN license is required Charge nurse or supervisory experience required 3-5 years Emergency Department RN experience required Must have demonstrated appropriate clinical knowledge to evaluate and prioritize patient flow issues along with demonstrated excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to set priorities and supervisory skills to manage a work team is a must We take great care of careers.
