Job SummaryThe DMHAS Data Performance (DDAP) Coordinator utilizes extensive knowledge and insight into the behavioral health network electronic health record (EHR) system and its interfacing throughout the organization to coordinate, monitor, analyze and troubleshoot Rushford data reported through the DDAP database to DMHAS to ensure data quality and accuracy.
The incumbent collaborates with DMHAS to ensure reporting meets program requirements, and with IT department and program management in order to ensure quality measures are met.
This expertise is used to coordinate EHR system functions to support the quality requirements and reporting set by DMHAS.
In addition to the standards set by DMHAS EQMI, this role is vital towards other program-specific DMHAS data quality and fidelity requirements.
Job Responsibilities Monitors Rushfords Data quality in DDAP and the EHR system.
Runs weekly DDAP and EPIC reports to evaluate Rushford data entry, completion and integrity.
Collaborates with BHN IT to monitor and analyze DDAP and Rushfords electronic record.
Applies knowledge of EPIC and of the DMHAS quality standards to improve the electronic record transmitted into DDAP.
Implements data checking processes to ensure harmonization across both systems.
Identifies areas of deficit or needing attention in data content and distributes tasks to program supervisors to manage their program rosters in order to meet Evaluation, Quality Management and Improvement (EQMI) standards.
Provides support to program supervisors to complete these tasks including education, reports, and data corrections.
Collaborate with DMHAS EQMI Manager in all areas of DDAP reporting to ensure all requested information is provided and transmitted to DMHAS.
Participates on project teams and gives guidance at the BHN level to uphold functionality and the DMHAS Evaluation, Quality Management and Improvement (EQMI) measures.
Advocates best practices and creates new initiatives to support EQMI goals; serves as a consultant to other BHN entities when necessary.
Trains new staff and managers on DDAP system including generating and interpreting a variety of reporting as well as managing error reports to ensure accuracy of data in Rushfords electronic record.
Trains staff on the importance of accurate Substance Abuse Treatment Information System (SATIS) and National Outcome Measures (NOMS) documentation documented in DDAP as well as other EQMI measures.
Elevates any problems or concerns associated with data reporting to appropriate levels of leadership and works to define corrective action plans.
Conducts monthly DDAP meetings with Rushford program managers and directors.
Reviews communications from DMHAS, reports on current data, and collaborates to address any internal or DHMAS data issues that arise.
Reports fidelity scores and key quality indicators to Rushfords Executive Quality Committee on quarterly basis.
Qualifications Associate Degree in mental health field EHR systems; Knowledge of behavioral health levels of care Knowledge of DDAP system; DMHAS EQMI Measures; EPIC or similar EHR system; Admin knowledge of BH level of care requirements and program interactions is preferred Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and proficient in use of personal computer.
Ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment.
Good interpersonal and written communication skills.
